I've wondered why my parents (or parents in general) would make me go to a corner after I did something disobedient or rotten. It makes complete sense: you're facing a blank, claustrophobic space where you unwillingly stay so you can think about what you did wrong, why it was wrong, the meaning of life, death, absolution, and Armageddon, and how the heck you're going to sweet talk your way out of that joint.
Funny how actions such as that could be carried on throughout your post-childhood years. Just a couple minutes earlier, I found myself thinking with my forehead against a corner. I can't say it helped, but it was comical to just think about what my walls would have been saying to such a sight.
Everything will be this quiet very soon. We're all pretty dead and ready to collapse after 10 weeks of rigorous project spitting.
No more randomly passing out, I guess. The sad part of it all is that I'm going to miss it. I'm already going a little crazy not having anything to do today ):

So besides being blessed by the Jinx, I think today was slight of a success.

The weekend wasn't bad either. I got to dance the night away at Brooke, Gloria, and Juliette's Space Party while donning a costume that made me the Queen of Pluto.
And of course...coming home to realize that I had a glow stick and two sparkly stars stuck in my crown-bun that I took off to get these fairly amusing webcam shots.

Friday was a day for constant shooting. From about 9:00 am 'til 11:00 pm at night, I stayed in the studios to shoot and set up (and er, chat with my favorite 4th floor cagers and other awesome peeps) two scenes from my Alice in Wonderland series. A few outtakes of the set ups:
The final shots for these are found on my other blog for my school work: joiong.blogspot.com
We're all shape-shifters. Kind of. Some are faster at changing while others decide to wallow in a comfort zone. The otherothers are those that feed off of other people's characteristics because they either lack the confidence of accepting themselves or they barely have a grasp of who they are.
Time favors the patient, right? So I guess it's worth waiting for a select group of people.
A photographer living in Wonderland who owns a ridiculous sweet tooth.
She writes.
She thinks.
She floats.
She sings.
She dances.
She makes leaps.
