Rolling into Stones and Nieces

Annie...

 Hello unedited paper.

I was baptized in Syracuse as Jojo by some asian girl looking for her other asian friend.

I'm Losing Sleep, but That's Old News

I think I've figured out what I'm personally submitting to the Honors Show.

First one is an experimental submission to see how people respond to it.
Last two have been gone, done, and seen, but I guess there's no harm in trying again, right?

I wish we could submit more than three images. Four would have been a nice cut off for me since I'm still a little restless that I'm not giving any of my flowy cloth shots to the show. Hmm, maybe I might be able to do better cloth shots next school year when I decide to try to fall on luck's lap again? And I do keep telling myself that they've been published already, so might as well try to pass on...? Oh indecisiveness, why must you torture me with three questions on this post?

(Special thanks to Susan, Kirsten, Brooke, Jenny, Mercedes, and Michael for helping out with the picture picking and eliminating!!!)

Food...in Your Dirty Mind

Who knew that tea could be anywhere close to being pornographic?

Party Dress

This is the dress I managed to haggle down to $16.

I couldn't have been happier after realizing that it's the first dress that fit me perfectly! No need for tailoring like I usually have to do for dresses! Not that I mind, but it just makes me more of a happy camper if something fits my weird short body nicely.

And yes, I like gradients.

Environmental Portrait

So it's been a crazy quarter. I've been practically stripped from my obsessive-compulsive-neat-freak tendencies.

I wouldn't have it any other way.
(Um, well actually---that's a lie...my room is now clean)

OH...and my new haircut.

California, Here She Comes!

Yesterday was probably one of the weirdest days of life. Not to mention that I had to say goodbye to one of my very recent (but closest) friends here in Rochester. I probably won't see her until November...maybe.

My darling friend Amber left for Cali today.
This is the same girl who sold me my yellow shoes last summer---basically a material possession that probably marked some sort of personal revolution...personal revision?

Saying goodbye to people I love the most scares me. Not looking forward to the last weeks I have to go this school year.

The Lastest Thing

I forgot.
I mistook.

Time Travel

At about 9:30 am, Katie, Maria, Aaron, and I decided to do the time warp.

We ended up in the 1960's.
(and Katie ended up in Great Aunt Bizzarro's dress)

Need More Lazy Days

This week was the first week I wanted to call in sick from my scheduling book. I don't think I've ever felt this way before.
I blame it on the sickness that I am thankfully getting over (with the help of lung hacking).

Wishing for days like this
I'm in serious need of a break.
Thank you Val for causing the envy.

Initial Stages of Going Under

If you were wondering where Michelle and I were headed off at about 11:20, here's a hint:

Test shot for my underwater shoot.
So many things could go wrong...
And there are so many loop holes to find,
but I'm excited about it anyway so no worries here (:

Inspiration

The end result is often times nineteen stone-throws away from the influence. And other times, you just feel like being a bad copycat.

The Death of Marat by Jacques-Louis David

I'll do something water like soon...and probably not as peculiar.

A Gathering

I'm not narcissistic.
I swear.

These are just extremely short moments of boredom.

Week 4-5 Therapy

We decided to ditch our apartment for a sporadic date on the beach.
It was much needed.
It was very much deserved.

We didn't want to hear the wanna-be-cool people that lived behind us.
